She arrived at Smith and met Valerie in September 2007; Valerie initiated her into the Storm Lords and the pack - which at that time was just Valerie.

Cain immediately challenged that decision and ended up winning the leadership challenge. Now Hope is caught between her new alpha and her oldest friend in the pack.
