She looks up to see a large piece of rubble concealing her position, so she carefully gets to her feet and creeps over to the corner. She risks a quick glance and curses when she realizes her situation: she's stuck in no-man's-land between the Broken Ridge Collective River City and an army of the dead! Hundreds of masked ghosts line up in rough formation, ready to attack the settlement.

She pinwheels forward into empty space until Black lashes out and grabs her by her shirt, arresting her fall. Anita howls, "No! No! No!" Black retorts, "What? Do you want me to pull you back up or not?" Anita flails but yells back, "How much is this going to cost me?" Black shrugs and replies, "Nothing. This is in my best interests, Miss Perez-Montoya. Also, if I allow you to die, then [[wod:characters:adela|Del]] inherits the botanica." Anita curses again but grumpily concedes, "Alright." Black pulls her up and releases her once her feet are on solid ground, Anita flounces away in rage.
